I have a buddy that runs them and i am thinking of getting a set but want some more opinions on them first.

They are the shit. Before you buy a set make sure you get them to fit those pro-stock heads we got(spam). They will wear out the cylinder walls faster.Get on reher-morrison site, they have tech-articles and it explains the theory pretty well. What cubic inch are you wanting to build?

Im not sure yet i have been kicking the idea around of maybe 630 but i have most the stuff to build a 540 so im not sure yet.The guy we were at the races with is running a set of these pistons and there is like zero friction when rolling the motor over.

Ring seal with gas ports is bitchen. Too bad it isn't for free.
Like 565 edge said, it will kill the rings and the cylinder wall in return for the ring seal.
Depends on what power you are looking for and the durability you are willing to live with, or without in this case.
Not like a boat engine really lives comparatively anyway.
I say go for it, maybe.
