Title pretty much covers it.
Worn slam out is fine. Block and crank should be machinable. It'll be bored big anyway and I don't mind running a .030/.030 crank since this will be a stock engine.
Wouldn't mind more than one.
Closer to SC the better.

EDIT: Just a block (w/ main caps :) ) and a crank that I can buy for around $300 (ballpark, not looking for a freebee) and can drive to pick up and drive back to the house in less than 12 hrs.

What are you asking for the block and crank. I've got a buddy looking for one to stick in a 66 Nova.
Does the block need any machine work, and are the bores already oversize?

i am in new mexico and have a standard bore standard crank and orginal heads for a 396

That would cost nearly as much to ship as it would to buy I'm afraid. :cry:

If it's as nice as you're letting on, it's too nice for what I'm doing.
I don't mind putting a sleeve or 2 in one. God knows it wouldn't be the first time. :rollside:
