1978 custom 1 off gn race boat, raced from 78-84 by a man named Pete McCarroll, was gn#1 formerly named a better idea was a high points champion and a world record holer, all rigging is exelent, casale v drive with 32 gears 1 1/8 prop shaft 2 blade prop dual 50 gallon tanks. all the rigging is anodized blue and is heavy duty, handles a bad day at parker very well. the boat was in storage for many years and over the last five years i have been using it as a river boat, i am looking to get $8500 obo for the boat minus motor and trans.

Nice looking ride. But I thought GN boats had the motors in there the other way. :confused:

as i mentioned in the ad i was using it as a river boat and was running a trans for ease of operation.

Gotcha. I was simply stating what I thought I new about GN boats since you stated it was one. Again, nice ride.

Yes finally somebody with balls. Cut it and i would like to buy the bow peice. Cut it straight across please so it will hang on my wall nice and straight. And i would be interested in the transom to. I made an offer on the other sit for a "package deal" thanks mike.

i was asking $17500 for the boat complete but then i bought a rayson craft river cruiser and put the motor and trans in the new boat.

i have seen this boat and i would say that the steering system is worth the asking price and is by far the best rigging i have ever seen it is all cantalever, rods, & heims. it is truely unlike any other and is smooth and bulletproof.
