Steady stream pouring in at the packing. Should I try to tighten or replace?

Tighten it 2 turns and check it again. then try 2more turns. Should only dribble when running. Budlight

Now sounds like a good time to install that new type of seal. HTP sells them and I have had one in my pump for the last two seasons with no leaks.
Just pop it in tighten down and forget it :crossx:

I have one of the new seals to. Now if I could just get he damn boat done and in the water...
