I have a 19 ft. Avenger with 455 on a dual axle steel trailer. What is a rough idea of what this rig weighs?
I need to order 5.30-12 trailer tires and don't know if I need load range B (840 lbs. each) or C (1045 lbs. max each).

Go with the LR C tires. My 16' Cheetah with a single axle weighs 2200 lbs.

You can probably get on a scale at the city dump?

My 18 ft. Avenger with a 460 on a single axle trailer weighs right at 3000 lbs.....
I run a truck scale at a gravel pit, so it was nothing to weigh mine.... You have any pits or quarries you could go to? Most likely they would weigh it for you for free or very little $$$....

I weighed mine at local feed mill with certified scale. Mine weighed in at 3420# with full gear and full tank. Single axle trailer. Heavy tug lolol.

I might be able to find a scale but don't have time right now and wanted to get the tires ordered. Sounds like I'm easily over 3,000 with the double axle. The load range C's will give me a good safety factor, the B's would just be too close.
Thanks guys, this was a big help. Last question - buy painted rims or go a few extra buck for galvanized?

Could go with aluminum rims as well. Mine has aluminum wheels, they seem to be holding up real well....

Ohhh, I'd imagine it was prolly 3/4 to full with gas. And honestly I want to say I weighed it before & after the new floor with not much difference. I plan on bringing it to work to get some welding done on the trailer here pretty soon. I'll weigh it again & let ya know the results.... :rollside:

You may want to check your bolt pattern. you might be able to find a nice set of wheels off of something else that will fit for alot less.

Just had mine on the scale, it was 3470 lbs. My trailer registration says it weighs 1050 lbs; are the registration weight typically accurate? It is a dual axle Competitive trailer. So, the boat is 2420 lbs and I am guessing with 25 gallons of fuel in it. Anyone else with a 21' Daytona have their boat's weight to compare?

When you had it on the scale was it sill hooked to the back of your truck???
if so it was not your actaul wieght, but the weight on the tires.
2400 may be alittle light with 25 gal of gas.

That is the total weight, the weight on the tires was 3090 lbs.
