My dad and I built one of those when I was a kid. That thing hauled arrrs! The water had to be glass, but it ran 60 mph. Fun!

I've got the itch to get my Prather going again. Haven't used it since the early 80's :rolleyes: . It's only a chainsaw equipped one , but only cost me a few hundred to build back then . The Arneson unit I've built myself ,and should have built a bunch and patent it :p .

Curt Conrad is pretty much the shit when it comes to modelling. Have you ever seen his "spirit of dubai" boat? I have two or three vidoes of it on my computer, but they are 85 - 100 megs each. Amazing boat though, hauls ass and looks the part so much that in a photo you can't tell if it's the real deal or not.
