Anyone know were I can get some 4" ID stainless tubing fabricated in a S Shape? Flat broke was right, My Rubber Hose failed and almost caught my boat on fire. Engine Temp was only 180-190 was on the gas though.. Time to make it right! Thanks for any input. John... http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/199509side5.JPG

You might not like it but what I did on a friends fishing boat was build a 4" square tube 15" long with an inlet at the top and an outlet on the bottom. It was such close quarters that I didn't have a choice of anything else. I would say its almost half the distance as yours.

Aluminum hard anodized & powder coated cast S pipes (http://www.rexmar.com/page233.html)

John if you can give me a dwg. we can fab some up but it is going to be expensive, the 90 deg. bends are $75.00 each unpolished, or 110.00 each. These are 304 S.S. j.j.

You just need two stainless 90's on each side and have someone TIG weld them together to form the S shape.
Here's a good source for tight radius tubing bends out of any material.
www.woolfaircraft.com (http://www.woolfaircraft.com)
Otherwise do a search under "stainless elbows"
If you call an industrial supply house the price will likely be less than a HP exhaust system supplier. Last time I looked, the elbows were about $ 35 ea.
You get the parts and just stop by my shop here in Michigan and I'll TIG weld them together for you.

Corleone 17,
Make sure whoever welds the S.S that it is "purge welded".That's where you put your inert gas on the inside, so the inside of the pipe is welded also. That way it is sanitary and stronger after buffing and polishing.

Mark Thanks for another great link! I would love to go to that place. I will be buying some stuff from them pretty soon too.
