Hi!
I wonder if Bombardier has a propeller kit for Raker II props that fits Mercury standard propeller shafts?
I am currently testing props. Best props so far has been stock Mirage Plus 27 props (7/10 condition) spinning 87 mph at 6.800 rpms. Above this speed the boat need more trim, and the prop loose grip of the water.
I have also tried a stock Bravo One 28 pitch 4 blade set. Since its 4 blade props, they lift the transom somewhat, and the speed ended at 84 mph at 6.300 rpms. Above that the prop started to ventilate.
Tempest props would be nice, but they do not have tall enough pitch at LR. So I wonder how a Raker II set will perform, as the prop is high rake and carry the bow very well.
Propshaft is 1.25 inch below the bottom. Cruise is very efficient; 46 mph at 3.500 rpms, 53 mph at 4.000 rpms, 60 mph at 4.500 rpms, spinning the stock Mirage 27 Plus prop. 1;1,87 gears. If the propshaft had been too high, the slip factor should have been higher.
I will try to get hold of 2 x 30 pitch cleavers and 2 x 28 pitch Choppers. What about Hydromotives?
What do you think?
Cheeeeers, Toffen G

Cheeeeers, Toffen GI have the same motor combo as you and I'm running 15x30 cleavers. I have a little too much bottom end right now. I want to try 34 4blades.
