The match ups were insane. I didnt get any pics of dogballs CP but that thing is top notch and hauls ass. He was a contender for sure and ran hard all day.
All im gonna say is I can't wait to see what $hit gets thrown around labor day should be interesting to say the least.

No njba connection other then most race, just a bunch of us that got together for the weekend at lake Martinez.

Yeah, read the first post, these were taken before they ran, and every boat there paired up at least twice saterday,even the ski boats and cruiser paired up. It was a good time.

Thanks to everyone for a good time. Chris, the stickers were just to bust your balls and give you some encouragement to get done and back on the water. Too bad you could not make it this weekend. Don't worry, Psycho "No show" Squid didn't make it either and lost a race to me by default. Warm water cold beers cool people and for a change a lot of sand. AND, I finally went a weekend without wildlife on my boat. There is probably a bear humping my pump as I type but oh well. Balls let me know what stickers you want. I should be able to match the toolies if you want. Glad your mishap didn't turn out too bad. You should have stuck around for Sunday everyone, I saw one jet skiier all day and the water was nice again. Good seeing everyone and Maybe I will be able to figure out how to post pix on here.

You chould have brought it, It would have been good for towing some of the boats should they run out of gas. Cameras came out as soon as everyone got up to the sand bar, then a little relaxing, then the racing started and ran until almost dark. Unlike other places, we don't wait until noon or 1 for the water to be high enough to launch. We were on the water at 10 and those pix were taken about 11- 11:30. 10am - 9:00pm is a long day on the water, Can't blow your wad in the first hour.

BTW. Not too many trailer queens showed up to this one. I think Danny spent his next house payment on blower belts, Brad made a bunch of passes in that green TPR, and that house boat left the sand bar with alot of empty fuel cans on it.

I just need to rejet and put some timing in it.Had black shit all over the transom so shes running a bit fat. Its all good.lets empty the coolers before we run that way it feels like were going fast.

very cool. looks like one hell of an awsome showing, sure wish i could have seen it all. not sure what the little "misshap" is all about, but if that was the only unfortunate thing, id say the weekend was a total success. looks like a whole lot o fun was being had. and whole lot o fast boats.
chris (cs-19) its just my opinion, but it seems like you are da man. if everyone was sportin them stickers, that just means you are the one to try and beat. congrats, you should really try and take it all as a big compliment. ya everyone wants to match up against you, but thats the price to pay when you bring a race boat to the river. hell, i think it takes big balls to do that. runnin that hard with no recovery team, divers, emergancy personel near by? i couldnt do it. but thats what river racin was all about. im glad its still going strong. i am definatly going to have to try martinez again. my first and only trip down there was my worst river trip ever, so ive been shyin away from it. after seeing this thread i wanna go again. thanks for the thread Tim. great pics from everyone.

Wish i could make it. We'll be in Mesquite labor Day. A four hour drive for the kids football game so we decided to make a weekend out of it.

It went 124 and some change in about 600 feet then started running out of water so now its back to the drawing board with the setup.I think i need to buy stock in blower belts i went through three or four this weekend so i need to get that taken care of also.I only drove the blowe at 11 over and ran a 125 pill so there is alot left in the tune up also.I need to remember though it still is just a river boat.

Todd is tempting me to thrash and put mine back together....but it's not gonna happen cause I won't be happy putting it back together that way and giving luck a chance to turn bad. I'm an ass for taking as long as I have already.

Not at the river where I should be. :cry: I'm working Fri, Sat, Sun 7pm-7am right now. Kinda phucks with my river time since all the good Holliday Weekends are just that, weekends. LMAO :boxed:
