So what is happening?
IHBA shows this on there web site.
I thought the circle boats were the main deal at this race.
I just happen to be going to SD on buisiness the 10th to the 15th. May have to change my return flight to Sunday night :) :)

Ihba does run. It is the top 8 in points for each class and they are used as a filler for the rest of the show. It is a great race to go to.

Kid Morg,
The circles are the main show at this event by way of Unlimited Hydroplanes. Mission bay is very large and there are different venues taking place in different areas at any given time. Its a blast!!
I won't be there so hold down the fort for me.

There is every kind of boat racing imaginable at San Diego. Just bring your beach cruiser and cruise around and check it all out, its DEFINATLY worth checking out. I really want to race there but its for the guys that are in the points race.Bummer.I guess Ill just go race Bako.

San Diego is a good ass time. I've gone quite a few years in a row. We stay right up the street with friends in Pacific Beach, it's always a wild weekend with tons of racing.

I guess I ought not speak for others (Hangfin) and know who's talking from Lodi. There are so many flattie friends up there I'd hate to find out I was actually talking w/ the enemy. Lucky, yer in the know, help a brother out!

Talked to Ihba today, got into the SD race, see you guys there. :)Cool, beats the hell outta Mings atmosphere. The wife got some Tshirts done up and she is real geeked up about this race.We had a good time racing there last year only bummer is there is no launch/in out ramps,so the military brings out Hummers to put you in/out and it is a clusterf***,especially when the tide goes out :yuk:

Im on the list as a reserve in TE, if someone backs out Im in..If nobody backs out Im stuck with the Gambler deal, I dont care which class I end up in, Im not racing for points or anything, just for fun.. I've enjoyed the gambler the few times I ran it, that staggered tree is bad ass but it can throw you off big time when your the faster boat and you have to sit and wait for your number while watching to see if he red lit at the same time, its tough. :)
Robert, the 006 boat is the least of my worries.. :) good luck this weekend, I hope they kick some ass :)
Chris.

They called me Monday to get my boat name and number but didnt mention anything about an opening.I will stay with the Gambler deal unless they call, I just want to make some laps in the good air and have a fun weekend, TE or gambler, I dont care.Sorry about your motor situation, hope its nothing serious.
Thanks for the heads up .
Chris.
