What?
What are you getting?
I just sold my 21 Campbell. I bought a 21 Cambell Tunnel - whaler style.

Yeah, I know. Its kind of bitter sweet. I did put a ton of work into the boat, but its time to move on, I found a deal I couldn't say no to.

The boat is solid, Eric doesn't cut corners on anything, and he can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe, Prime Marine just re did the strut and some other stuff last year. In other words, there shouldn't be any used boat gremlins left in her. If I wanted a Vdrive and had the scratch, I'd buy it and be lots of money ahead of any similar project.

Chris- You should buy it and put your motor in it. Sell the twin turbo motor and gain some money back. Sell the Spectra and gain some more money back and you will be even further ahead.

He is not worth of a v-drive. Silly jetboat racer, v-drives are for MEN. :D

Even petite ones with Cambells? I saw this boat back when Eric started it. It was clean then. Eric last boat was immaculate when he was done with it. Whoever gets this thing won't be sorry. Too bad my money tree is empty. :yuk:

Thanks for all the comments guys. The howard has really come a long way. There were deffinatly some issues with it when I got it but it was nothing that a lot of $$ and time couldn't fix. (Plus a little help from some friends. Thanks again Chris & Ty)

Going through exactly what Eric did on my Schiada. Buy one that someone else has already put lots of cash and fine tuning into.

Just one problem Trav, to afford it I'd need to sell off my motor. Not something I want to do at this juncture. Besides, I'd have to finish the bottom and trailer on my Spectra before I could sell it, and at that point, the hard work is done :D
Frank called me a jeboat racer.... Thats funny stuff.
I wish Disco could find a way into the boat because it would stay in the OG CBBB family that way, Eric would know it would be taken care of, and it would just wrap up the whole deal nicely.
Either way, whoever gets it will be stoked.

I thought I was going to be able to make it happen, but I shouldn't right now. So, I'm going to have to pass. Someone will be stoked with this boat. I would be, if it were next spring.
If you're even a little interested, you should call Eric and speak to him about it. It hit the Boat Trader today, and won't last long.

Sorry, Brian. I wish I could wait, but if I don't get rid of this thing by the time I have to pay property taxes, I'm afraid I'll have to cancel Christmas. lol

I see that the cav plates on your boat have been "relieved" or cut away in the middle. Did the boat come that way originally or did you do it? If you've used it both ways, what was the effect? I have a 1975 Spectra 20 (same hull) and have considered removing some cav plate material in the middle to reduce transom lift, cuz I have plenty. Please share what you've learned!
Also, I see that you have a steel rudder in place that's likely not original, or is it? I have the original bronze rudder in my boat, and have purchased a used steel one that looks to be exactly like the one you're running. I haven't tried it on my Spectra yet for various reasons, but I'm concerned it's too small and I'll lose quite a bit of rudder control at low speed.
I'm gonna try to insert an image here...seem to be challenged.
Well, having no luck. Seems as though you have to have an online pic storage to post? Anyway...comments on the topic?

Weaverman,
I wish I could give you some feedback but the rudder & cav plates were like that when I got it.
