Just because I have started to to play in the dirt again and I'm buying new toys that help me find stuff in the dirt...
How many of you know that there REALLY is GOLD in the hill's around Havasu?

I thought my Wife was nuts when she wanted a metal detector too. Believe it or not, it has more than paid for its self. :D

thats one of the new toys its a gold detector has higher freq. so it sounds off when it goes over the gold with a different tone... (just have to get used to it).

That wasent found with the detector, that was found panning or in a mini sluce box, after concentrating it down using some screens I bought online too..
Theres a bunch of junk you can buy to make it easier to find this stuff, Im just getting into it....

my wifes brother is into that stuff, where ever he goes he brings back 5 gallon buckets of dirt and or mud to pan thru when he gets home.

What kind of detector do you have.
Ive got a Gold bug 2.
there a bunch of different ones out there that are better but I thought I would start with this one since it is not to costly if I want to get rid of it.

If you find gold on someone elses land or blm land can you stake a claim legaly? This isn't the 1800's you know.
