A great answer to a dumb question

Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked:
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied: "Recoil."
(hard to fault a Marine that eloquent)

I don't know if that happenned recently or not, but the original quote was from a SEAL sniper who zapped a bunch of folks durng the Panama incursion. He was protecting the governors mansion, where there was another group of SEALs protecting the governor inside, and they were pinned down by rebels. This guys smoked an inordinately large number of the opposition, at night, from over 600 yards. His answer when asked a similar question was "recoil".

my favorite sniper quote is, "you can run, but you'll only die tired"..btw that 50 cal rifle is made right down the street! I help heat treat the large metal components and a bunch of other stuff at one of my client's shops.
Mr. Barret (developer of the rifle) drives a shelby cobra to work on sunny days. Some people think he may win a presidential medal of freedom for his rifle and the lives it has saved! ooorah!
