These are just a couple boats they had in Sarasota at the annual dealers meeting. They also had a 43ZR with 1075's as well as fishboats. for 2007 Donzi has switched from BASF paints to PPG. PPG will be introducing some new colors exlclusively on Donzi's here shortly.
This is a 2007 22' Donzi Classic. 80 MPH with a 496HO.

So after playing around with different set ups and props, it looks like the guys at the factory have got the 38ZR dialed in nicely! This is a 38ZR with 700SCi's and NXT drives....... schweet! :rollside:

Yea, "retro cool" is the word.....I love the looks of that boat.....I wonder how they ride, are they as smooth as they look, I don't know anyone who has actually driven one through some rough stuff.
I wonder how they compare to the West Coast custom boats????

The boat rides like a dream. Every year I run from Miami to the keys with it, along with other Classic owners and we have no problems.... Straight 24* vee (rounded keel), no pads, no steps, no bull. I have a 2005 with a 496HO. Same hull dimensions since they were first built...haven't changed a thing. They got it right the first time.
In 04 when I ordered mine I paid right at 45K for the boat. Which was a steal.... most were paying right around 50K.
The boat picture is a "Shelby edition"..... plan to spend 65-70 G's.
A bare bones 22 with an HO probably run ya between 55-60.
My boat runs 75-77 (496HO). The shelby's have a raised X dimension hence faster. 80 with the HO. The boat is also available with a 525.
The classics are truly that. There a few classics runnin around with decent power.... late 90's with pro charged 454 that runs low 90's. A 2004 with a whipped 496H0 that runs strong 90's. And of course the infamous "Mighty Mouse". A 1975 Donzi X-18 with a seriously built, pro charged SBC and Arneson drive...... that boat runs 123 on GPS, on a friggin rail...... You can check it out on the Arneson website under kool boats....

Thanks... Awesome boat. What is so cool about those is that they will never be out of style. No crazy graphics or anything that will date it.
