CALTRANS is putting an emergency contract to bid on, thats going to replace 6 existing bridges. The same bridges that they are currently working on. The contract calls for 180 working days, which is approximately 9 months. The project bids on 8/31/06, and work will start in approximately 2 - 6 weeks after the bidding process. Just a heads up.

I believe 180 days is only 6 months but thanks for the heads up!

Try not going rice rd.
I left Parker a few weeks back towing my buddies 28' Crownline and went through Blythe. My othe friend went Rice not towing. I had one stop to rezip the bimini. My buddy called me when he hit I10, I was 10 miles out of Desert Center. Thats less than 10 min. You have 40 miles of 2 lane from I 10 to Parker.

They are seismic retrofitting the bridges that are salvageable and fixing the abutments, and reinforcing the slope's under the bridges which were washed out.
