I know mine is cheaper than the Cigs I was looking at before I bought it. My company likes the fact that I only have 300HP a side, as did the company Rod had it insured through as well, and they were different companies. :D :D :D

Thanks for the replies........ Gregs CC is very nice and a great boat for what it is and used for. I don't think I can live with the speed. The boat I will be buying the bottom looks like a CC and one of the Mods here has one........ :) Oh and it wil be a 36'............

When I sold somepeople thought it was too cheap.....well maybe....but if you want to sell something and want it to move quick...you have to price it realistically and competitively or it will sit for weeks, months, and maybe years...

You sold at the right time and at the right price. Some of these other guys need to lower their price a bit. Just my .02.

I agree...Most are overpriced and will set for a long time. I'd rather take a minor hit and move on quickly!
But the market of 6-8 months ago is nothing like today's. People are not spending $100k on boats right now.

Its a little diff, but not significantly f....consumer spending is tapering off, but it has mostly to do with Summer coming to an end.......I know DCB volumes are still high, Howard is still rolling out boats.....friend is water testing his 27 Deck with Merc 600 next week......so its a little diff, but a well priced and well marketed boat will still sell...
Actually the insurance market is better now then when I sold...there was one game in town where now you have two.

Your right on both counts. The market is slow if you are average priced. If you drop below market value (like you did, your boat was worth more) then it will sell. So I figured if I went $102,000 it would be below market and move, sure enough the day I dropped the price to 102 the phone started ringing, e-mails and PM's. I would say as soon as one of them looks at it, it will sell. Im thinking maybe one-two weeks now. Then moving on.

I agree. You either want to sell the boat or not. With the price that some are trying to get for their boats they are never going to sell. For us it was time to move on because it was not being used and it cost more over the long haul to pay for something sitting in the garage than just taking a bit of a hit and moving on. In our case if you do the math it cost us at least 5k each time we used the boat because it did not get used that much.:cool:

First of all I hope you guys enjoyed the new boat. Man I wanted to come up so bad on Saturday morning. But I was meeting with my agent again at 10 for 6 houses we didn't have keys to on Friday. I was done at like 1 on Saturday but figured you guys were miles from a dock to pick me up anywhere. I sat arond until 5 Sat. then finally jammed home. It was a good weekend. Made four offers we'll see if any of them bite.

Yes I have learned, I kick fiberglass now. It is a good way to determine a boats worth... I think my next boat if and when I buy another boat will be built as well as this one..........it kicks well.

Can't imagine a nicer Spectre coming along for that price...all the upgrades, fiberglass seats, 300x's and bitchen colors which is not normally the case for most Spectre's....

I couldn't afford to fill the tanks on my boat, and sold it for less than your asking price...I will be DD on Todd's pontoon for a while I guess :220v:
