I don't know Bill, only a 2 game lead.....With 4 more games against the Padres and 3 games to end the season against the Giants.....winning the division is definitely not guaranteed.

Yeah, the West sucks for both leagues. I'm hoping the Angels somehow pull it out.....

Funny how all the Dodger haters come out when they're doing bad. Where were all you guys in the other Dodger threads when they were doing good?

Maybe everybody was on vacation for that week and a half. ;)
LoL, and I guess as a Giants fan you've been on vacation since 2002?

I am consistent with my dislike of the LAD's and the Lakers. I am on record many, many times throughout the season and pre-season for that matter.
Noted.

Same here, but I don't care for the Clipprs that much either... :D :D
They were, at one time, the San Diego Clippers; still nothing, huh?

Thanks, it took me a few minutes to think of it. I guess you were the Giants fan. I had to double check, I thought it was Shockwave Bob. My apologies Bob.

your hatred towards the lakers and the dodgers, proves that you hated the varsity in your younger years, you were only good enough for the jv, a la clippers & giants :yuk: :rollside: it's ok, a few more therapy sessions will clear this up  ;) d-no

If you look up "Balk" in the dictionary, there will be a picture of that last pickoff move.
And while you're in that dictionary look up the rule about what constitutes a mound visit.

YEah, and send it to the Dodgers cause the obviously have NO clue what the definition is...
That was a B.S. bush league call.

Cameron just went yard in the bottom the 8th. 7-2 Pads.
This one is in the fridge. The eggs are getting cold, the jello is jigglin and the butter is getting hard.
Damn I'm glad I'm not a Dodger fan.

I don't need to look it up. That was a mound visit. The manager needs permission to make a mound visit due to injury, the pitcher will also be granted warm up throws. None of those things happened.
Get real. At this level, you know how to do things and how not to do them. Just like in last year's playoffs when the Angels catcher did not apply a tag on a third strike on a ball that may or may not have touched the ground. Basic common sense after you've spent your whole life behind the plate and are playing at the major league level. To a manager, the premise of a mound visit is as rudementary as filling out the lineup card.
Ok, after reviewing it technically it was the right call. But I highly doubt they would of called it if Bochy didn't complain, and I'm not knocking him for that because that's his job. But you have to admit that this umpire staff was a little off throughout the whole series. Their strike zones varied from batter to batter (sometimes pitch to pitch). You can't possibly defend their call of throwing Lugo out of the game. They were on a power trip.
