I used to shoot skeet all the time in a league after work, prefer 5 stand or sporting clays over trap though. :)

I had a case of shells a month habit going there for a while. We mainly shot skeet and then went over to the 5 stand pit to get our a**es handed to us later. Quit going when it started getting hot. Maybe get a bunch together for Sat morns once it starts cooling off?

She does a pretty good job with out formal training. The guns don't bother her one bit. You should see her on a scent. You can tell she's born with it. So far she's tracked quail, rabbit and dove. Rabbit is her favorite. She almost made my 14 yr old brother cry as she finished off the rabbit. What can I say? Kids are pretty soft these days. We're looking forward to quail this year. :)

I have an old Charles Daily .410 side by side. the choke is so damn tight on it , it shoots like a friggin 22 great for turkey shoots but aint worth a damn for clay.

Win, The only diff between the 2 is that the win was able to shoot .45 long colt. I showed it to my uncle who is a big time upland guy... told me that if I ever get tired of it to give him a call... :) I can't get out of this anal state so I can actaully buy what I want.( I could go on and on about crappy ca gun laws)

Can't go wrong with the Browning bt99 either. I remember my Grandfathers double automatic and Belgium A5. now in my fathers collection. both excellent firearms . recon I'm next in line :)

I love my old 1100, Its older then I am, has had about 50k shells thru it( orig my grandfathers who use to shoot in a league back in the 70s. when if you wern't shooting a 1100 you were the stand out). Other then some wear it still cycles every thing from target loads to full on duck loads. When and if it ever breaks i am taking it to a gun smith to get fixed. I hope one day to pass it on to my son/daughter when its time to move up from my 20 ga youth 1100.

Nothing like watching a dog work. I have never owned a working dog but hunted with quite a few great ones.
I currently have a Browning Citori Hunter (all I ever shoot) a Browning BPS I won for 20 bucks in a raffle and my first shotgun a Rem 1187.
I used to shoot a ton of sporting clays at Rahauges Pheasant Club in Norco.
Mostly just throw clays off the end of Arizona in Havasu now.

Nice. I grew up with a rem 870 12gauge pump. Last summer I bought an 1187 and love it. What a great gun. Have fun. Mabey we can all have a ***boat skeet shoot over at prado sometime.
