There was a time when I didn't care for the body styles of MoPars after 1970 or so. The newer fuselage cars of '72 and up (like the new Satellite/Roadrunner and this new Charger) seemed so too damn big to me...and the lines of the classic muscle cars were gone. I don't remember them having much value at the time, either.
Today, I think that Plum-Crazy Charger looks bad-ass. Hooks up nice and sounds bad-ass, too.

Hay, Kindsvater Flat how are you doing. There is another river run on the 4th of October at Knights landing. I can't make, I will be out in the ocean on that day. But it should have some nice boats there.
As for the Car I think he is from Sac.

It is amazing how big the later model roadrunners were. My brother had a 72 road runner 440 air grabber hood etc. and a friend had a Dodge van, I think it was called a clubwagon. It was a huge van with a lot of cab hanging off the rear wheel wells. Anyway parked side by side the roadrunner's bumpers matched perfectly with the vans. One long car......

Here is my friend Carl Spear's Charger. People at the track think were both nuts for building such BIG cars. We just laugh and kick their a** again!!! http://www.speedgraphics1.com/images/pix/glory.jpg

Hey Ray, you have any close up pic of the side windows and windshield?? I am getting ready to do my windows and wondering about mounting the plexiglass. Thanks.

I might have some of when I built my Chevelle. I used a shrinker/strecher tool and fabed some flanges that I tacked in all the windows and mounted the plexi to them. Carl has the same set-up on his. I will do some hunting around and see what I come up with.

No the drip rails are still there. The flange is set back 1/8" from where the drip rail starts. I have some pics of mine on an old web site I have I reduced the size of the pics for the site and am looking for the original pics to give a better close up.
Check here to get an idea.
