and now (on the hose) it idles in between 1400 and 1500....is that good enough for it to idle lower under load? im guessing in between 1100 and 1300 right?....its a ford 460 w/ a huge cam w/ alot of overlap....it used to idle in between 800 and 950 under load....now i hope it idles a little higher so i wont have to hold the gas pedal just to start the darn thing....opinions on this? thanx everyone,
Reid

First set your timeing. Next hook up a vacuum gauge to intake manifold vacuum. Now set your idle mixture screws. What you want is your lowest idle speed with the highest intake manifold vacuum. Then set your idle speed and your good to go!!!! :boxed:
