Does anyone know what an 87 daytona weighs without motor?
It has an outboard 300, just curios what the hull weighs.

No motor I would guess it around 900-1200 pounds. Depends on how it was laid up , could be 1,500 pounds with out motor but that would be pretty heavy.
Oh the motor is probably another 400 if I had to guess.

My 1997 Daytona was HEAVY. Road really stellar in the chop though! With a 300 Merc it ran low 79-84 on the better days.

I would say Andy01 is pretty close on the weight...however most of the older 21' Daytona's that were O/B's, were rigged with OMC V-8's. If it has a V-8 on the back, the engine alone is about 600 lbs. Some of those were damn nice boats though.

blown as in smoked a piston, I guess the VRO pump went out. Did a number on the motor. Trying to get it fixed now. I would really like a merc 2.5 but I blew my money on the boat.
