Are there any new recommendations for filesharing out there? Maybe new news of ones to stay away from? I don't need popups, spyware or any crap thats going to screw up my new computer. I did some searching and the earliest results I could find is from 8-2005.
I did find that these were some of the most recommended:
LimeWARE
LimeWIRE
BearShare
WinMX
and stay away from Kazaa. I had Kazaa, which is part of the reason I have a new computer.

emule... I would recomend edonkey/overnet(emule branched off of them) but in the last little bit, they have been adding "bundled" software bs. that and they closed thier forums... so I say fook them.

I would avoid downloading from shareware sites all together. Get a small group of friends and every one buy 2-3 CDs a month and then just rip them and trade them. That works best.
Use the uber methode to rip your music and you will be very happy.
