Just bought a new boat eariler this month and it could use some new plug wires. Sounds simple but the boat has a magneto and I dont know a thing about them. Can I run regular plug wires or do I need Magneto specific wires?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use those wires on a Vertex and get away with it, but don't put them on a Pro Mag, they'll kill it. Here's what you want.

I ran those wires with my MSD Pro Mag 12, Pro Mag 20 and now with my Pro Mag 44.

Thanks for the help! I think I will go with the MSD wires. I have been happy with their products in the past.

I run mallory 10mm wires - just don't run your stero when your driving lol :)
as a newbie to mags , don't gap your plugs like a regular distr.
My mallory's are set a .20 boat fires off in about one revalution and i have not missed a cylinder fire - ever !
Art ( gofastracer on the boards gave me a link to a mag shop - but i lost it with the purchase of my new purter system ) Maybe he will see this a post another link - very comprehensive site :)
