Either Merc's 25-40 or 40WT valvoline.

Absolute puts Torco Racing in mine. It's like a 20-50 or something like that. He says it's the best. Otherwise you can't go wrong with the Mercury Quicksilver stuff.

I have been using Mobil 1 Gold cap in 15-50 for awhile and the motors seem to run cooler and the pressure is up after a hard run better than the Torco. Go look at offshoreonly.com for Hydrocruiser's thread about lubrication...Best info - period!

I have had the best luck with Mobil 1 15-50. I have tried Mec. and Kendall (Teague recommended) and the Mobil 1 is the only oil that has good pressure after a hard run.

Mobil-1 10-30 in mine. Runs just fine. No sludge after 40 hours. It's dark, but still transparent. 22psi at idle after long runs. 45 at cruise.
