I'm looking for the guard tube, 3-1/4 o.d. with .125 wall, 36" long, steel.
This is for a direct drive.
Ordered one a month ago and still not here. Would like to have another source.

Steel and not Aluminum? Didn't catch that the first time around. Are you sure?
You are pretty far north from me, but if noone else can help out, I need to buy some steel tommorrow, I'll check and see what is available.

I need steel. A wall of over 1/8" won't clear the screws for the coupler.
Does stainless meet APBA rules?

No way 1/8' will work, you sure don't need it that thick, can't remember but I think mine is around .080???..

I thought that you had to have either 1/8" Steel or 3/16" or 1/4" AL. But damn sure can't remember at this age... :)

Well when I called them 14yrs ago on that, they said with a solid driveline you don't need it that thick and they just never added that in the rules, so I don't know???..

Did any of you guys find a source for driveline guard tubing. I have an old Casselli system that needs to be upgraged. I need 25-26" long X 5" O.D. about 1/8 or so thickness. Any phone numbers of possible suppliers. thanks
