You can you do it 2 ways. In the picture the cord was layed across the top rafter pole so you cant see it and zip tied. then as we ran it down the main support pole we use the speaker wire long plastic covers that you use in you home to hide the cord on the wall, they sell them at Homo Depo. The other was its to use a router and cut a small groove just enough to snug fit cord down into across the top rafter pole and do the same for the main support pole. It looks alot better if you use a router. The lights are not included in price but you can buy at Homo Depo or Lowes.

Hey HS,things are great. How about you? We have been very busy with 40 ft containers coming in on a regular basis and business is off the hook. We might be planning a trip to China really soon but not sure yet. We havent done much boating since our last trip out for 29 days straight and I think we burnt ourselfs out last trip. Now with containers coming in we are stuck working and dont really know for sure when the next trip to the river is going to be. Hopefully in a couple of weeks. If so I hope top see you out there. Summer says hi.

Brandon I will save you two 9 ft palapa kits. The pole on the 9 ft comes with a 6 inch diameter x 8 ft for the BBQ and on the 12 ft it comes with 6 inch diameter x 10 ft pole. I have longer poles for a little extra $.

Do you have a website to order stuff from?? Built my own Q and roofing structure and need thatching by the foot and maybe some bamboo slat fencing......
Just googled a bunch of sites but ironically just did a search for palapa here knowing you were on the boards.
Any help would be appreciated..would rather spend money with board members if I can.
