Whose pile of stuff is in the pic? Is that transom housing any good? Mine has been "modified", and I would like to find a good used one.

I've got a late 70's stock cast AL Berkeley transom plate that has "Super Jet" across the top of it ... dirty, but, not all scratched up ... interested?

I want a stock one. Paint, etc doesn't matter. I don't reckon what it says should make any diff, as long as it don't say Jacuzzi, lol! Prefer with no corrosion, good threads, etc. Mine has the bottom corners cut off on an angle instead of rounded on the corners like stock. If you got a pic, that would help. PM me for email, and a number you want for it. I will also be looking for an intake 12JC (bottom of boat). The fins on mine are a tad chewed up.

Here is a link for Berkeley Transom Housings:

The Super Jet Housing I have is the 0 to 9 degree one ... will post a picture later.

I would reckon mine is the standard one. I will check the angle of the transom.
I'll tell ya- this is the second boat hull I have where the pump intake was set in the wrong location. The other hull I have, the intake is 2 inches forward of where it should be. That puts the pump O-ring not even touching the transom housing at the bottom. There was 1 1/2" thick silicone squeezed into the space that was open. The one I'm fixing was closer than that, but still not correct. I guess when they were rigging the hulls, someone was paying more attention to what they were smoking, than where they were putting the parts! :rollside:

Those look like the same seats I put in my centurion. Are those the plastic or fiberglass buggy seats? How did you like them? I still havent bought covers for mine because I am just making sure I like them. They are much better than the really low back ones that came stock in mine.

every seat ya put in the centurions looks tall, but yes they were the low back buggy seats,I had them left over from another project, they were pretty comfortable,I actually put an extra inch of padding in mine, the shells are only 25.00 each and the covers are only 25.00 also that makes them very affordable.

Hey Taylorman,
I'm looking at a Centurion right now. Did you like this hull? And bad features? Can you tell me about it? Thanks!

I really liked mine ,but I had an opportunity to pick up my 19' liberator tunnel,so I sold it.I know they take alot of hp to run.Mine would have been better if I had set the pump back, the new owner was in the process of doing that last time I talked to him.Mine was pretty light lay up. but it was my first tunnel, and I really enjoyed it.where is the one you are looking at? got any pics?
