I talked with Dennis(track Manager) last week....
Opening night they are running ASA speed trucks, open wheel modifieds, and a couple of other classes.
Thet have done a lot of work sprucing up the place,It's a really neat little 1/4 mile asphalt track that should produce some great short track racing.
I have actually looked at buying a modified to run out there this winter and spring...

The track had a test a tune run this evening. Free for spectators. Next week should be great. Those trucks and modifieds go pretty well on that short track.

Someone with connections needs to get ESPN out there, like they did in Tucson for "Winter Heat" series !!!
I was told that the ASA speed trucks were going to be televised, not sure as to what network...
They are expecting at least 25 modifieds, since this will be the 3rd race in a series sponsored by Hoosier tires, cars from Blythe,Orange Show speedway,The Bullring in Las Vegas,San Diego,Irwindale are expected.
Open Wheel modifieds put on a great show on a short track...
