1997 Laveycraft XCS For Sale. Very Clean!

1997 Laveycraft XCS w/ twin step hull For Sale. This boat is very clean and very well taken care of...you must see it in person! Laveycraft sells this boat as a 21' but it actually measures just under 23'. This boat handles havasu afternoon chop very well compared to other boats in it's size range. Just push the throttle forward, drop the tabs a bit, and cut right through the chop. The hour meter shows 199 hours.
Motor is 7.4 (454) MPI LX (330 HP) coupled to a Bravo 1 outdrive with ECM Drive shower. Bennet Trim Tabs with Bennet tab position indicator. New Autometer Pro Comp ultra light gauges. New Dana Marine steering wheel. Thru transom exhaust. Off shore controls w/ trim switch. Bed and two seats in cabin area under bow (Much more room under bow than you would expect for a 21'). Extreme tandem axel trailer w/ swing away tounge and chrome wheels. Storage cover. Bimini Top. The boat is very well taken care of and washed after every use. Fresh water use only and is stored indoors. Left trailer fender has some damage from a tire blowout.
You would be hard pressed to find a nicer boat for the price. This has been a great boat for us but unfortunately times are getting a little tight with the birth of our son and my wife becoming a stay at home mom. The boat has been very reliable for us and the 7.4 MPI LX is very easy on the gas bill. Boat is currently registered in AZ.

Thanks for the kind words. Several people have come to look at the boat and they are always very surprised it is a 97. Unfortunately they have only been tire kickers and don't have the money to spend.

i dont think you will find much cleaner boat that is 9 or 10 years old,nice job in keeping her in like new condition.if you didnt say 1997 would of thought it was brand new.good luck with the sale.

I would imagine it is just a little over 5,200 lbs. The Laveycraft website lists the weight of the boat w/ a 5.7L (small block) plus trailer at 4,850 lbs.
What do you need to tow it with? I towed the boat several times with a 4.8L Tahoe with no problems. Now it sits behind a 2500HD and I don't even know it's there.

I tow 75% of the time with the moho.
No probs with the 21 Carrera jet, but wondering how the moho will do when I step up to my next boat which will be something like your lavey.
Maybe time for that d pusher.

Not mine, we are very pleased with our 2004, 24/25.2 inch NuEra, trying to get tabs put on over the winter though. We like the fact that it handles the rough good and still maneuvers around the docks nicley, not to big not to small....just right:D Allthough I really like the 26 NuEra.

very nice clean boat that will easily sell for 28k and should. Whats wrong with you guys! this boat new would sell for about three times that much! just hold out another month or two and put it in the boat trader a couple thousand more than it is. I listed my boat the same time a year ago as you are and once february and march hit, the phone was ringing off the hook. don't lower your price and give it away unless you REALLy need the money, just my .02.

Best I have seen on GPS is 65.4 mph with a labbed 24P Bravo 1. Not a speed demon but fun to drive and very easy on the gas bill.

I will be towing the boat home from Havasu on 2/19 for several interested buyers to look at. The phone has been rining off the hook for the last week and it looks like people are starting to get in the boat buying mood. I had a feeling the boat show would kick things into gear.
If anybody from the boards is interested in coming to look at this very clean Lavey once it is back in town I will give you first shot at it. Looks like the auction will begin on 2/20. :boxingguy
