In regards to the recent accident-
In Hot Boat fashion, I've sent an email letting the news room know they're way off base in the kind of boat involved. I also said in fairness to all boaters, a correction should be made. firstnews@kxii.com

I know you mean well but who cares? Whether it's a jet boat or an outdrive....the bottom line is that 5 people died in a horrible BOAT crash.
Should they mention the Arneson surface drives? Regardless of the types of boats involved, it will be a black eye on the boating community (unwarranted) because whether the media mentioned the right type of boat or not, 95% of the public doesn't know the difference anyway.
Back to what's important....may the deceased rest in peace and their families see through these horrible times.
