Its fun when the vid is done and people like it. Logistacally, this gig was a nightmare for me. Think about it, I commit all my time to shooting video while everyone is having the time of their life! :cry:
Hauling camera equipment through water (keeping it dry), up rocks, into boats etc making sure batteries are charged, lenses are clean, tapes supplies are maintained bitch bitch bitch... and if thats not enough I have to haul an ice chest like everyone else and get the shot! Between my crap, the #2 camera I brought for Rich to run around with and trying to figure out where to be and when,,,, it was difficult.
The races were good and I had a good vantage point. I don't know why you guys like to blend in with the crowds but whatever floats your boat. :cool:
I'm glad sunday eve had some good action. When I shoot v-drive outings I know everyone so a race rarely slips by without my knowing. That definately helps my movies. :cool:

It looked like your boat was running good. Maybe I'll catch you at a ming race one of these days....

Jerry, that must have been a long day sitting over there in the heat, thanks for coming out, its great that your showing some intrest in our events, hopefully we can get a few more in before the season is over.
There are a 2 races at ming left, hopefully you can make one of them, weve got World finals too in November.

those races @ aha were intense, there were arguments and everything breaking out over the Mike/Tony race, I seriously felt like I was in an episode of PINKS.

no its a 2nd generation...it is the same hull as holeshot...they just made 2 different tops...one for a race boat and one for a river boat...same bottom

It was really cool to see all that hardware in one place.Thanks to all that put it together.Next time send out a memo that the sand bar is a rock and shell bar so everyone that is used to real sand brings shoes though.Between the weather and the boat traffic it was hard to get a pass in on saturday though but definatly cool seeing everyone lots of really nice CP's.Hope to see everyone soon at the river.
