GMC Extended Warranties

Blew the tranny in the 05' DMax @ 48000 miles, I have the extended warranty.
Any recommendation on what dealer to take it to that is not going to ty to F*** Me, I'm in Murrieta

Does any tampering show on any wires?, cause if they find it you might be SOL.

The computer can show that it was tampered with even if you remove the programmer if the dealer really wants to find out.
I dont get this though add a programmer push trans to limit then want dealer to fix it??Just my opinion

If you didn't tamper with it they'll give you a new outta the box tranny with no hassle with the GMPP.
The owners manual says change the fluid & 2 filters every 25k if you tow BTW.
Are you sure you blew it, or it could be a solinoid?
Could easily be something simple.
The larger dealers that handle several lines tend to have good mechanics IMHO.

I had my tranny replaced at Witt Licoln-Mercury in Escondido.
My friend was the service advisor at the time he hooked me up. The work was done on time and I was very happy.
