Last night was not bad at all. No rain and just a lil wind. Great thunder and lightening though. Hope it does the same today. :)

Couldn't be a prettier sunset, with a beautifull flat lake.

Don't hold your breath! Rarely more than a cool light show and some wind.

Here was last night's storm. Missed us, but kicked up the water quite a bit.

However, it was beautiful as we were leaving this AM. Here is the wife and I taking off at about 10:

A nice little shot of the river from around 1500 feet up:

And, the beloved new 5 mph area, from about 2000 feet:

Last time one of you said something like that we summoned the "city council and mayor" gods and said send the morons to Havasu. See what you get?

This was the first time ever. Usually, I am pulling the boat out there. Not this time, though. Only six peeps total, so we only took one boat. The wife and I were boat biaches, so Beer30 stayed home under it's cover.

After the traffic yesterday, I am ready to fly. :)
Let us know when you guys go out there again. We are there more then we are home. :)

Nice air shoots. What did you guys fly out? 172? Hows the climb out? What time did you guys leave? And how was the air over the desert? Rough or smooth. I am going to start flying out. I fly now, just not to the river yet.

1978 Piper Turbo Lance. 6-place, retractable. It was already 90 degrees or so. We were full fuel (98 gal), but just the two of us and luggage. I wasn't pushing it real hard, stayed around 800 fpm in the climb to 10,500.

Sure, PM me your email. Are you sure you want the full size? Each pic is around 2MB, and res is 2496x1664. Around 3' x 2'.

I didn't mean to jack this thread, I was just showing the storm weather before and the clear weather after.
