Just curious if it is ideal to run props inboard or outboard. I have seen both ways and my boat now runs them inboard. Have seen newer boats run them outboard for stability supposedly. Any info

Generally speaking; Inboard for performance, Outboard for better manuvering at docking speeds. Almost every performance boat out there today will turn them inboard. There are some caveats. Some high performance hulls with outboard engines turn them outboard.

Different hull designs will react differently. The only way to know is to try it both ways. On a vee, typically turninng the props outward (starboard drive clockwise) will create more transom lift. More bow lift if turned inward. There are a lot of variables... stepped or straight bottom, extension boxes, close couple or driveshaft.....
