Its comin!!!! We usually camp somewhere between wash 10 and 12. It would be real cool to get a HB crew together on some nice trips. Anyone willing to camp around wash 10-12? Our camp is anywhere from 4 to 40 riders depending on the weekend. Lots a hard ridin'.
I just got an HID setup on my Banshee late last season and it friggen turns the sand into glass!!!! :220v: :220v:

I prefer to breath air and not dust, we camp west of store about a mile or so.

We prefer over at Road Runner (down Gecko road by the ranger station), although when we get there late and it is to full, we usually camp at wash 13 or 14, and try to stayout of the dust as much as possible. Look forward to seeing you there! I have a new buggy, anybody sees me, hollar at me!

Wash 6 on "off" weekends" Ha, usually like wash 16 or 17 on holidays. Think were gonna skip T-day, go to Havi instead.
might try one of the new pads on Gecko on an off weekend.

Right on bro!!!! Will do. I prefer the Cecko area myself. Less (way less)dust, big bowls are closer, and hlep to keep the dust off my ride. But, we always have about 6+ rigs all with toy boxes in the crowd. Its hard, to find that much space all on one area in Gecko. So, we go to the WASHes. not by favorite choice. I have a blue denali, nitrous toy box and a red super trick banshee. So, lookin fwd to some good riding!!!!!

I'm ready, got the moho serviced, fresh tranny in the car and a new intercom/radio setup for the car. Just watching the weather. Once it cools down a bit, it'll be time to put away the boat and start tearing up the sand. :rollside:
We're usually in wash 13 or 14 with an occasional stay on Gecko if we get there early enough.

We always shoot for Gecko so we can drop into the good dunes asap. If Gecko and Roadrunner are deep we camp out past wash 10 to avoid boardman traffic. Around wash 14 is the asa camps. Camped there several times as well.
Big night ride this weekend.

We do Gecko early in the season so we can cool off in the canal. Then any wash after 13. If you go way up the wash the dust isn't too bad.

We try for some where along Gecko Rd, or the canal. Sometimes off the end of Roadrunner in the sand.

I started going to Glamis in '82 and had to stop in '95 because I moved. Reading this thread and seeing some of the pics, man do I F'n miss it. This pic cracks me up, it makes the ride from Glamis to Gordon's look like a hop, skip, and a jump. It might be now a days with all of the high perf. vehicles but, in the 80's that ride seemed long.
