Whether they get put on or not, they'-re raising awareness and getting people to talk about the danger of CO.

I put mine right on the back of my boat so no dumb-ass idiots will consider swimstep surfing or hanging out back there with the motor running. Just doing my part to prevent tragedy (and getting sued by said dumb-ass idiot's living relatives). Always amazed and sadenned by those types of preventable deaths...

I just have 4 big a$$ exhaust pipes out back. Fire those up and no one will be hanging out on my swimstep. :)

Just putting a dumb sticker on the back of your boat is not doing your part to prevent a tragedy. Being aware of who is behind your boat before you start your motor or while underway is your part. The sticker does nothing to stop to morons who do this or the even dumber morons who allow them to do it! The only thing that sticker does is provide the manufacturer of the boat some civil protection because they had it on the boat when they sold it, allowing them to say the owner should have known better. Would a sticker in your boat stop you from having a beer while boating? Nope. Only the common sense of the operator will stop it. I think the sticker was the pet project of some political hack who had nothing better to do than introduce this bill instead of addressing things that really matter in California.

I threw mine right in the trash. No one in my crew is lame enough to hold on to the back of ours ski's or boat...
