Guess there was flooding from the rain and they shut down the 95 Hwy about 5 miles out of Blythe as of last night. A local said the road was washed out. FYI in case anyone was planning on using that route.

Also closed between Vidal Junction and Needles.
The wash-out is between Vidal and Havasu Landing turn-off, so to get to the Landing you need to go through Needles.

Ummmm.......
North side.
95 doesn't go south of the 10.
Al least not till Quartzsite.

They've had the 95 north closed just before Water Wheel for almost a month now! I think they've just forgotten to take the damn signs down! Everyone just drives around it, altough it's dangerous seeing as it's at a double yellow area! This obviously has nothing to do with the one as of last night.

That's how someone would get to McIntyre wouldn't it? Off at Intake (hwy 95) go south until it ends?

I think they are talking about 2 different areas. BoatCop is saying the highway from Vidal Junction (near Parker) No. to Havasu Landing. Not near Blythe.

Intake Blvd. may go south to McIntyre, but it isn't US 95.
US 95 goes onto I-10 at Blythe, east to Quartzsite where it joins AZ 95 South to Yuma.

As of Friday night it was taking the 95 from Blythe (exiting the 10 Fwy) towards Aha Quinn / Water wheel / Paradise Point area. About 5 miles in when you hit the beginning of the hills the whole road was blocked off saying Flooded / Closed. Anyone head out there this weekend to see if it cleared up?

So how about 95 on the AZ side through CRIT area. this is important at the I-15/215 interchange will soon be closed on weekends for three weeks for construction. What a mess!

The only 95 on the AZ side is when you get to Quartzite. Through the CRIT land is Indian Route 1

Ok thanks for clarifying

Ok, got it, so Route 1 is from Parker through CRIT and ends up at the truck stop near the I-10 bridge. Actually I think that is the safest way to HavaZoo as oppose to Death (Rice) Road.

The road was closed Friday night. I went around the signs. Roads were no longer flooded but signs of mud and water were ovious. Only went as far as Aha.
