Boat is currently racing under SS 33. It is Candy apple red w/ black ghost flame in it. Engine was fresh at Firebird this year and only 2 races on rings, rod bolts, bearings and valve train. Motor is a .060 over 4 bolt block w/ SRP pistons, H beam rods, forged steel GM crank, new manley valves, new mechanical cam, lifters and springs, roller rockers. 10 degree casale gear box w/ whirleaway (just freshened). tandom axle road trailer w/ swing away tung. Me either. I will build a mild little lake motor and put 2 seats in it if someone wants that. I would sell that for $9800 lake ready.

Okay. People think a motor is a motor. I have $600.00 pistons and $500.00 rods. $250.00 roller rockers $1000.00 carb and $800.00 air scoop Machine work for this year over $1400.00 for the SS motor. If someone wanted a pump gas lake motor, the pistons are 1/2 that cost, You dont need a 4blt block and $380 valves. I have access to a 396 that is not together yet and can have it running w/ a non leagle SS carb for about $1700. so you have about 400hp and not 630hp. I also have access to 2 bucket seats for $350.00 after they are re-done to match the boat That is a few hundred less than my SS seat and a prop that would be a good lake prop.
What I am saying is, I have over $7000.00 in my race motor and I don't pay labor for building it. If I have a shop build my motor, it would caost at least $12000.00. You can get a crate BBC for about $3500.00
So there you go. A motor gone though that will still make the boat go 90mph at 6200 rpm for 1/3 the cost.
Someone just wants a toy, It is alot cheaper than a ready to race SS.

Scoop, base, and mounting hardware. About $800. You can just get the scoop for less than $300

I do still have it. I just found out my wife ordered me a new K hull (750lbs). Once that is done I will have 4 B boats and we onley have 2 asses.
I will shoot you a email BBT. If you need it delivered, no problem as long as I can get there and back in a day.
Mouzer, Whats up? I figured the allmighty boat dealer would have had this thing bought and sold already.

My wife is in the middle of having a new D'Cucci (K boat hull) built for me. I will have my hands full trying to get that ready for Firebird next year. If I didn't have that project coming I would consider that.

Me either!
I think people think that it is the same boat Loveles could never get to run right. Yes it is the same hull but we have hundreds of hours moving thing around and have made it a great boat.
We changed the strut angle, plates and motor location from its original E boat set up.

How difficult would it be to set up for a passenger seat?
Does it run on pump gas or race fuel?
What kind of speeds?
I am flirting with the idea of a little go-fast on those weekends when I don't feel like hauling my 32 Dominator to the big water.

Move the battery back and you have room for the 2nd seat. I can get 2 lake seats for the boat and have them finished to match.
We run race gas in it at 42deg. of timing and 100-103mph. Taller gears it wont come out of the corner as hard but will get you 106-112mph. You could run 50% aviation and 50% superunleaded at 36-37 deg. of timing and still run high 90's. I could even build a 396 BBC 10:1 comp for pump gas and get you into the low 90's.

Dave Bryant makes them. I dont have his number but his company is Custom Aircraft Interiers in Mesa AZ. You could also put a post up in V-Drives. He plays in there.
