Was just watching a 911 special, and they were playing Danny Boy, and listing the 343 Firefighters that died, tryng to help others. As a retired firefighter, it brought to me to my knees.......
God bless

I was a paramedic for many years.....and I was watching the drama of 9/11 on CNN as I was about to leave for the airport to fly from Orange County to Dallas, and when I saw the first tower go down, all I thought about was, all those firemen and policemen, who went into the tower to save lives, were killed. I have never or since felt such rage, sorrow, grief....those brave men, going up those stairs to save lives, and being killed in such a brutal murder.
A bad day for America, and I still feel our leaders let us down.

Today has brought back a range of emotions for me. I am now stationed at the same firehouse, I was 5 yrs ago and to be here watching all of the memorials and see all of the pain in the faces of the loved ones just hurts to the bone.
Never forget.
God bless america.
and all of the victims of 9/11.

Nope not a medic, the apps come online Jan. 1st. You need to have your CPAT to qualify, then your name goes into hat and people are picked at "random" to take a pass/fail written. The they band you 100% off the interview. It's pretty much the same way L.A. City does it. Did you take the test last time Bruddah?

Worked the day of 9/11 and also working today. Went back for the memorial and marched down the streets of NY. What an honor. My thought and prayers go out the the wives and children of the brothers that left us. I bet today is very hard for all of them.
How are you guys going to work just once a week by living in Havasu? You have unlimited trades?

Man I hear ya, I scored an 88.4 on it. To get on band 2 you needed to score an 88.5, my buddy that worked with me and who I studied with scored an 88.5 and he got in the tower a couple months ago. I prob would have been in there with him. But oh well, there's always next time. Medic school should help you out quite a bit. Have you tested with L.A. City yet? I know they're going to be hiring a ton of people and they love medics.
