Thats cool and all, but I don't think hydrogen fuel cells will ever take off. For the simple reason that it takes so much energy to break down water to is components. There are 2 ways that are practical to produce hydrogen.
1. is to break down methane. which actaully releases huge ammounts of CO2
2. Is using sea water and electrodes. This method does not release CO2, but takes HUGE amounts of electric power.
So unless we find away to produce hydrogen cheaply it will never happen.
