Rams D was great. The offence was ok, Great job marching down the field, but could not punch it in. 6 field goals. Not good.

I know i'm a Lions fan but their defense looked good against a good Seattle team... Still concerned about their lack of offense. They sure played hard yesterday.... that's a huge improvement :)

Um, didn't the Panthers lose by 11 to Atlanta?
The Bengals looked very good. The defense picked up where they left off last season, forcing turnovers and putting pressure on the QB, even playing without Odell Thurman and TJ Housyourmomma.
your right i meant jacksonville who beat dallas

Dallas is better then they look.
Jags have one hell of a brutal defense.
Hold that thought through the season.
Player of the day was DB #27 Rashean Mathis with the Jags:

Da Phenom. Future Hall of Famer.
Go Raiders. Tonight should be great football.

Was Bledsoe throwing picks (interceptions) and intentional groundings because of the Jags awsum defence,, or is he not so hot anymore?

I'll risk the flames - I was very impressed yesterday with my Niners !
They're not going to the Super Bowl this year, but they're going to be fun to watch.
I'll go so far as to say, that given the on-field "discussions" yesterday, San Francisco - Arizona may turn into a real NFC rivalry in a season or two.
Looking forward to the rematch - Christmas Eve at Candlestick Park. The stadium cannot compare to that nice new one in Glendale, AZ with the grass that gets taken for a walk for its' photosynthesis, but the Niners will be up for the game, and the crowd will be "Christmas Cheerful"...

how did your team do?
Yep, the Ravens did look good as they clobbered my poor Bucs :( First time EVER that the Bucs have been skunked at Raymond James Stadium (it was built in 1998). If next week's performance is anything like yesterday's, it's going to be a LONG season. :220v:

Felt bad for Favre,, may need to re-consider retirement.

The Bears kept the ball outta his hands most the game,, so maybe GB's defense shares the blame too.
That was one nasty shut out for a 3 time MVP.

I agree, even if it is ugly, mostly by default.
I'll take it.

Haven't got a fix on the Raiders yet,,, hummmm,,,

F the Rams and Geogia FrontandRearie....
Saints look good, and Reggie Bush had a great opening day in the NFL, 141 total all purpose yards (61 rushing, 58 recieving, 22 punt returns).

As an old Raider fan, I would love to see them have a good year, but Al Davis keeps making more stupid choices. Chargers will probably beat them, but it should be a good game.
Go Raiders.....or go Chargers.....

Good to see the D. I hope they keep it up. They were running through Denver's line like butter. I couldn't understsand the offensive play calling of the Rams. Pretty frustrating to watch, even though they won. Lame to have the kicker score ALL the points, when they had 6 (or so) good opportunities for a TD.
