Is it possible to "Lighten" a set of stock gears like the lightened gears?? Or are they two completely different things.

JJ Beaver can lighten them after heat treat. I've seen a few sets he's done and they look nice.

We run light gears in the THF drag boat, 7.40's at 160 have not had any problem. The cost is $75.00 plus shipping. some time it take a while because I only do it when i have several sets. let me know if I can help. Takes about 6 lb. off the weight. j.j.
