Computer Question...?

Dell Demension 8200 (running fine)
Windows XP Home Edition.
All of a sudden down in my task bar next to (START) is a "MessageApp" Icon that I can't seem to get rid of. No left or right click on the Icon does anything.
Any suggestions...?

Thanks for the tip...it went away after a reboot but I'm sure it'll be back.

Any icons displayed next to start button are "Quick Launch". If you don't want that feature, right click the task bar, scroll up top to Toolbars. A drop down menu opens, click on Quick Launch to toggle feature on-off. You don't really need Quick Launch because the same icons are probably on your desktop.
