Well I watched the OL Sanger drive off with the new owner tonight :frown: . Mixed emotions, it's a GREAT boat, but I'm getting a new one. Sold the Drop-top last weekend for the new boat. Good thing I don't have a boating problem
I'll need to work on my sig and avitar...LOL !.

olbiezer: NO engine, I want to put a FORD in it. The room is something I'm looking forward to, besides hauling ass and riding smoooooth !!!!
out of bounds: MANY MANY thanks for the offer !!!! But like I stated above, no engine. It came w/ or w/o an engine, I chose w/o so i could build, or find a bargain, ona Ford power plant.
P.S. It it Friday yet....damn it, hurry up and get here Friday !!!!!

I know what you guys mean about letting go of boats. I sold my old Hallett bubble deck about 7 months ago and when it got towed away it was tough to keep it together. It makes a difference when they go to a good owner who takes care of them. Mudpumper Mike on the boards here bought my boat and is taking great care of it. Replacing it is a '22 Schiada V-drive.

A good way of puting it. I couldn't think of a way to type what I was feeling w/o sounding like a p*ssy. It was hard to watch it leave

I can understand upgrading the boat. What I don't get is selling a car that will only keep increasing in value for a boat that will decrease.

Very simple, this blue collar worker could'nt afford BOTH. This was the only way I could afford to have the boat I wanted, w/o payments. The car was a toy, and so is the boat, and this point in my life I'm boating a TON ! So why not have the toy you want, and use the most ????

funny i thought i was the only one who sold a car to buy a boat. had a monte ss for 7 years did everthing to it and after getting pulled over again!! i decided i could have more fun with a boat then any street car. sold the monte for $25k and bought my 21' DAYTONA funny how 90mph in a boat beats the sh*t out of 130 in a car anyday.
p.s. you'll love the ride of you'r new hull (daytona cat?) sold my 18'cheyenne and will never look back.
