How do you get the floor so shiny?? And that looks like it's gonna be a sweet ride, any idea on power yet??
Pats fiberglass did all the work #909-946-3089 on the floors. They are so shiny it's hard to take a picture of them. It's getting a BBC blown with a 1071 20% over so it should be making some power.

Holy Cow!! How much does it cost to have the floors redone to look like that? I mean approximate.

Holy Cow!! How much does it cost to have the floors redone to look like that? I mean approximate. It all depends on how far you want to take it. Don does a great job. They prep the floor and most of the time they straighten the stringers and the sides. They will them gel the center, sides, stringers, kickboard & transom in whatever color you want. They then sand it down again to get it flat and take out any imperfections. Once that's done they flow it, colorsand & rub out. Most shops won't go to the extreme of colorsanding and rub out but that does make a big difference in the overall look. Ton's of labor. T&M and the time part would depend on the condition of the floor so it would be hard to give an approximate price without seeing what needs to be done. But it ain't cheap. Just ask Morg how much time he has on his floor!!!.

I pm you what it all cost, and it was done exactly like Billy said, lots of prep and sanding, I will be installing non skid bathtub stickers on the floor when it gets done at Prime

Beautiful Job!!!!! We have a TR2 that we will be doing the floor on and I like the black over the stringers because we have sooo many plugged up holes on the stringers that the black will hide it! I will just urethane paint the black and clear coat after. The cutting and buffing always makes it best BUT, Lots of work just for a floor.

This is pure art. Both the fiberglass outfit and the installation company are performing beautiful and inspired work.
After losing some of our icons over the past year, it's great to know there are highly skilled and still-emerging craftsman out there.
