Never said my boat would do 11's or 14's or 8's etc. As for the ever been through the lights part, well, not with the new boat yet...But radared yes. And, I have been around Drag Boat and Circle Boat racing since the early 1980's so I'd say that it would be a fair assumption on your part to figure that I have taken my share of rides in the 12-8 range :p and that I have a pretty good feel for the speed at which I'm traveling on the liquid 1/4 mile wink

Asked in the store...water is currently rising 5" per day (with no rain yet). Was told of a 36' increase OVERNIGHT 1 night last December, due to a mass release by Rollins. Expect that to happen again between now and New Years. As for the folks that want to come early, South Shore WILL be open on the 28th. I was asked to let everyone know that arrives that early to PLEASE go to North Shore and pay the fees and DEFININTELY close the gate behind ya. We took lotsa pics and some video....will post them by tonight. Oh yeah, I almost got tossed (was halfway out) eek!

I wished it was that easy. Hit a fisherman's wake at about a 45 degree angle while at top speed. Boat hooked right when the right sponson hit the wake.....I went left eek!

Yep, that's Orwood. Not the closest water to me, but the ramp and docks are nice and there's warm chow at the restaurant at the end of the day(except yesterday when they closed early :mad: )

Yep, that's Orwood. Not the closest water to me, but the ramp and docks are nice and there's warm chow at the restaurant at the end of the day(except yesterday when they closed early :mad: )
