Does anyone know if a berk impeller wil work in a dominator pump??
I have a brand new MPD modified berk AB impeller and just bought a tunnel jet with a dominator pump that needs an impeller.
Thanks

they have a different wear ring and imp. you can however machine the dominator to accept the Berk imp. and wear ring...if i remember right the dominator's have a deeper wear ring and impeller.

Fitment will depend on the year/serial number of your Dominator pump. As stated above the width of the wear ring varies between different Dominator suction housings, so it's importatant that you find out what you have. This can also be done by measuring the wear ring surface.

it will work if your serial number is after 14400

It is a dominator transom drive if that matters
I just got it home and will check the serial #

Please elaborate Duane, because I have an old early Dominator sitting around here that is wayyyyy before serial number 14400 and it has a Berkeley impeller that was done by HTP at some point. Has the pump been modified in some way for it to work and if so how?

Yes, it will work. We now have a wear ring that will even let you use the Berkeley impeller in the old style pumps.
