That was such a cool boat ,back in the day.

Atleast you would of had a boat that didn't need 1,000hp to do 120mph.....

Hey Dave (Flyte Risk) I saw your Hondo on the dvd yesterday....Looked good. Didn't know all the history of that boat. Pretty cool stuff. And Sangster...I remember that boat at Sanger when I worked ther. Cool deal. Keep it original (nostalgic). And if you need paint touch up I could stand a road trip!!!! :rollside:

What's cookin' Chief...This old Sanger is purdy clean inside & came with all the original hardware (also in good shape).... I've taken plenty of photos & video of the paint..It's in purdy ruff shape & will need to be completly redone..We plan on keeping it "Original"..Any idea how many of the Climax hulls were made....Sounds like they ran OK... :) :) :)

Lots of memories from my childhood with that boat. Nothing to take the edge off of a lull in a circle race program like Brumpton lighting 'em up. Sweet. Have fun with that one.

A new 501 is being built as I type. 500ci KB hemi, ex Don Garlits fuel motor
1471 magnesium blower and intake, 24 port injectors, 8 in the hat. This boat is being built as a two seater lake rocket, it will run some nitro just for the stink. Owner/builder lives 1 mi. from CFW. Slight chance it will be ready for Father's Day.
