I cannot speak for this particular boat, but I will tell you of many dyno tests with the borla collector muffler. When NHRA demanded mufflers on SuperGas and SuperComp cars, everyone and their dog went testing.
There is very little power loss across the board in some cases. (We are talking 5 and 8 horsepower numbers. Not some horrific loss.) Some other cases have numbers so close, that it is determined a 'wash'. Most cases there is a power gain over standard collectors. Mainly see it in the lower rpm band between 4500-6500, and equal power up in the rpm band.
Similar results with Flowmaster collector mufflers, and Dynatech as well. But Borla are stainless, and nice for a boat application.

Hey Dan,
Betsy and I both grew up on vacations there. It's a very nice lake but from what I understand it is over run by fishermen and only allows fast boating after 8:00 am and it ends around 4 so that fishing can resume for the remainder of the evening. That being said we will be going up there next year for the v-drive event. somebody has to teach Jessica and Rob how to drive that beautiful little boat. v-drive

The Forks is awesome...heading there this weekend for a burger and again in October with my flat before they close for the season. Just in case you guys like chili fries... Miller's at Bass Lake has the best I have ever had

Lori and I were at the Forks for 3 days last weekend, fantastic burgers.
Went there on the trail of a boat that turned sour, but had a great time anyway. Rented a cabin too over looking the lake at the forks. :)
