ahhell & emergency surgery

I just found out my son in law a.k.a. ahhell on the boards is on his way to Lave havazoo Regional hospital for emergency surgery. They think it's his appendix (sp?). The only surgeon in the new Fort Mojave is on vacation so he gets a long ambulance ride.

Mine burst, right when the surgeon was lifting it out back in 1991.
I spent a few extra days in the horsepistol on heavy antibiotics.
If he gets the same treatment, one of those antiboitics makes your arm feel like it is freezing when they put it in via IV.
If he complains of that, tell him to ask for a heated blanket to wrap his arm in while the juice flows in. It will help.
That was a long time ago for me, and I still remember that medicine was in a bag that looked like it was made of tin foil. Strange what sticks in your brain.
He'll be fine, but sore for awhile.
Best of luck to him. Hospitals suck, but when ya need one there really ain't many good alternatives...

Im doing fine, Tha appy. was gangrenous and very close to rupture or partially ruptured, luckily the tummy tuck went well AND my head shrunk 2 sizes............you guys are all heart
